As for the TV show,Buy SWTOR Credits, its supposed to come out in about a year or two I think, and will focus on Star Wars between Episodes 3 and 4. Apparently its going to have a lot to do with bounty hunters (maybe Boba Fett), as well as possibly Leia's childhood and the formation of the Rebellion. Unlike Clone Wars, it will be live action.
Of course, I doubt George Lucas will agree to a full-on reboot anytime soon. Apparently he'd rather just make endless edits to the original films, stripping out anything good and then reselling them with some new special effects.
Then again, if he's willing to endlessly edit his old films past the point of sanity, why not a full remake? Maybe he'd leave the originals alone then.
