Stratholme , the Western Plaguelands, and Stranglethorn Vale are great spots for anyone to farm for gold. In Stratholme, the ghosts in your Lake of Ke'Theril can be farmed.
There are also Cobalt Magweavers and Scalebones southeast of the Lake. They will provide you with Mature Blue Dragon Sinew,WOW Power Leveling Guide, an item worth a few hundred at least. The Plaguelands, Rotting Behemoths and the mobs at Felstone Field can be farmed easily.
Azshara as properly offers up outstanding farming locations. The highborne ghosts are an easy target, and drop items you can market for gold later.
